Communitrak can be customized to meet the specific needs and brand requirements of your community.
Let's Get Started
First, login and select My Community in the navigation menu. Then select "Community Preferences."
This will take you to the following page containing all the preferences available to customize Communitrak.
We refer to each feature within Communitrak (Bulletin Board, Amenities, etc.) as modules. If your community doesn't need a specific module, a Community Leader can disable it and any reference to the module will be hidden from residents.
Modules can be enabled/disabled by toggling the slider next to the name of the module.
Some modules have additional preferences that will appear if the module is enabled. For example, under Dashboard, you can select to enable or disable specific widgets such as the resident birthday widget or the webcam widget.
Under general settings, you can configure global settings that control how Communitrak manages specific functions for your community.
Enabling this feature will let residents join Communitrak but not login and access content. This allows community leaders to prepare and customize the system for their community while keeping residents from logging in until everything is fully set up and ready for them. It is up to the community to notify residents when the black curtain has been disabled and they are able to log in.
PAYMENT PROCESSING FEES
Communitrak allows you to select whether the community or the resident is responsible for covering payment processing fees for certain transactions. Note that payment processing fees for amenity reservation fees and deposits are always covered by the HOA.
If the HOA is responsible for fees, the payout to the HOA will be equal to the charge amount minus the processing fee. For example, if the charge amount is $10.00, the ACH processing fee will be 24¢. The resident will pay $10.00, and $9.76 will be transferred to your community checking account.
If the resident is responsible for fees, the fee will be added to the total payment amount. Because this increases the overall charge amount, the fee paid by the resident will be a little higher than if management pays the fee. The payout to the HOA will be the exact dollar amount as the initial charge. For example, if the charge amount is $10.00, the ACH processing fee will be 24¢. The resident will pay $10.24, and $10.00 will be transferred to your community checking account.
COMMUNITY TIME ZONE
To ensure system timestamps match your community's local time, select your time zone from the dropdown.
Appearance and Branding
In the Appearance and Branding panel, you can customize Communitrak to align with your community's brand standards. You can select whether you want the Communitrak logo or your community's name to display in the top navigation bar. You can also change the primary color of the interface. Contact us to have your official brand color added as an option. For more information, view this article.
