# Notifications for Community Leaders

Choose which new members, posts, requests, violations, payments, and reservations you hear about, and see which members are subscribed to each notification.

Community Leaders get notified about things residents don't: a new member joining, a post waiting for approval, a new request or violation, a payment coming in. These live in their own **Leadership Notifications** section on your Notifications tab. This article covers that section and the **View Subscriber Status** lists.

For the settings every member has, such as messages, alerts, and push notifications, see _Email, Text, and Push Notifications_.

## **Who can do this**

The Leadership Notifications section appears for members marked as community leaders and for anyone holding one of the permissions listed below. Each row only appears if you hold its permission, so two leaders can see different rows. Some options may be unavailable or appear differently depending on your level of account access.

## **Open Leadership Notifications**

1. Log in to Communitrak at [https://app.communitrak.com](https://app.communitrak.com).

2. In the main navigation menu, expand **My Account** and click **Notifications**.

3. Scroll to the **Leadership Notifications** section.

Each row has an **Email** and a **Push** switch. Changes save as soon as you flip a switch.

## **The rows and who sees them**

- **New Members**: someone finishes joining your community. Shown to members marked as community leaders, whatever their permissions. Email is off by default.

- **New Bulletin Board Posts Pending Review**: a post is waiting for approval. Requires the Approve Bulletin Board Posts permission, and only appears when your community requires posts to be approved.

- **Reported Classifieds Vendors and Reviews**: a resident reports a vendor or review. Requires the Manage Classifieds permission, and only appears when Classifieds is turned on.

- **New General Requests**, **New Maintenance Requests**, and **New Architectural Requests**: a resident submits a request of that type. Each row requires the view permission for its type: View General Requests, View Maintenance Requests, or View Architectural Requests.

- **New Violations**: a violation is created. Requires the View Community Violations permission.

- **New Payments**: a payment comes in. Requires the View Community Financials or Manage Charges permission.

- **New Amenity Reservations**: a resident books an amenity. Requires the Manage Reservations permission.

Everything except New Members email is on by default. These settings belong to your membership in one community. If you lead more than one, set them in each.

> **Info:** **Tip:** If a board shares the work, each leader can turn off the rows someone else handles. Turning a row off only stops your own email or push. The request, violation, or payment still appears in its module.

## **See who is subscribed**

Anyone with the View Member Communication Preferences permission sees a **View Subscriber Status** link under each row on the Notifications tab, including the rows every member has. It's useful before you send something important, or when a resident says they never got an email.

1. Click **View Subscriber Status** under the notification you want to check.

2. Review the list of members, with a column for each channel that notification uses: **Text**, **Email**, or **Push**. A check means **Subscribed**.

3. Turn on **Show unsubscribed only** to narrow the list to members who have turned it off.

The list is read-only. You can't change another member's preferences. If a resident wants a notification back on, they turn it on from their own Notifications tab.

## **Things to know**

- Turning a module off for your community also hides its rows here.

- A switch being on doesn't guarantee delivery. An email can still be held back if the address is bouncing, unverified, or was reported as spam. See _Email, Text, and Push Notifications_ for the full list.

- Push notifications need to be turned on for each device first, using the Push Notifications card at the top of the tab.
