Communitrak Resident Guide (PDF)

Full Resident Guide

The guide is written for residents, so Community Leaders can share it as-is. Nothing in it requires an account to read.

Resident Quick Start Guide

The guide includes just the sections to get you started with Communitrak.

What's inside

  1. Set up your account: your invitation, your access code, and signing in

  2. Put Communitrak on your phone: iPhone and Android

  3. Finding your way around: the menu, the badges, and the bell

  4. Your Dashboard

  5. News and announcements: alerts, the bulletin board, and articles

  6. Calendar and events

  7. Messages

  8. Documents and files

  9. Amenities and reservations

  10. Payments: your balance, payment methods, and Auto Pay

  11. Requests: report a problem or ask for approval

  12. Your account and household

  13. Getting help

  14. Quick reference: one page, everything at a glance

Every section stands on its own, so a resident can read it front to back the first time or use it as a reference later.

Sharing the guide with your community

If you are a Community Leader, there are a few ways to get the guide in front of residents:

  • Upload it to Files so it stays available in the app.

  • Attach it to a Message to a member group, or to everyone at once.

  • Post it to the Bulletin Board alongside a welcome note.

  • Print it for residents who prefer paper, or for new-owner packets.

Tip: Section 13, "Getting help," has blank lines for your community's name, contact, email, telephone, and office hours. Fill those in before you print or share it so residents know who to reach for community questions.

The last page is a one-page quick reference that maps everyday tasks to where they live in the menu, such as "Pay my dues" or "Register a car or a guest vehicle." It is designed to be cut out and kept near the computer.

Things to know

  • Communitrak is built from separate modules, and every community turns on the ones it needs. If the guide describes something a resident does not see in their menu, that feature may be turned off for your community, or their level of account access may not include it.

  • The screenshots come from a sample community, Water Oaks at Hampton Greene. Your community's name and information will be its own, but every button is in the same place.

  • The guide points residents to https://app.communitrak.com to sign in, and to this help center for a searchable article on every screen it describes.
