The Dashboard is the first page you see when you log in to Communitrak. It pulls together a snapshot of your community: unread messages, the latest bulletin board posts, upcoming events, today's amenity hours, your access codes, recent transactions, and who your community's leaders are. This article walks through each card and how the layout can be changed.
Everyone has a Dashboard, and anyone can rearrange their own cards. Changing the Dashboard for the whole community requires these permissions:
Show & Hide Dashboard Cards: hide or restore standard cards for everyone.
Create Custom Dashboard Card, Edit Custom Dashboard Card, and Delete Custom Dashboard Card: manage your community's own cards.
Some options may be unavailable or appear differently depending on your level of account access.
Log in to Communitrak at https://app.communitrak.com.
Click Dashboard in the main navigation menu.
The Dashboard is a grid of cards in two columns. A card only appears when its module is turned on for your community, so you may see fewer than are listed here.
A hello with your name and today's date. It's always at the top of the left column.
Shows how many unread messages you have. Click View to open your inbox. This appears when your community uses the Messages module.
The newest posts on your community's bulletin board. Click a post to open it.
The next events on the community calendar, with the date, time, and location. Click an event to see its details.
Today's open and close times for each amenity, and whether it's open right now. Check the amenity's calendar for holiday hours and other exceptions.
How you get into your community's amenities: the access code or entry method for each one, plus any access cards, Touch Passes, or household PIN you've been given. If you don't have access to anything yet, the card says so.
Your household's most recent charges and payments. This appears when your community uses Communitrak for payments.
The names, roles, and contact details of your community's leaders. A member appears here when they're marked as a community leader on their profile. Your community can limit who sees this card, so it may not appear for everyone.
Cards your community created for things like contact information, important links, embedded videos or maps, and announcements. Custom cards always sit near the top of the left column, below unread messages.
A few items appear above or among the cards only when they apply:
Alerts: urgent community alerts appear as a banner at the top of the Dashboard until they expire.
Upcoming Bank Holiday: people who manage community finances see a notice when a bank holiday may delay payouts.
Email confirmation: if you haven't confirmed your email address yet, a card asks you to, with a button to resend the link.
Community verification: while Communitrak is reviewing a new community, its leaders see a card explaining what's pending.
Getting Started: leaders of a community on a free trial see a setup checklist. It goes away once setup is done.
You can move most cards to put what matters to you first.
Hover over a card and grab its drag handle at the top.
Drop it anywhere in either column.
Your layout is saved in the browser you're using, so a different device or browser starts with the default order. The greeting, unread messages, setup cards, and custom cards stay at the top of the left column and can't be moved.
If you have the Show & Hide Dashboard Cards permission, you can remove a standard card from the whole community's Dashboard.
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the card.
Choose Hide Card.
To bring a hidden card back, use the Customize Dashboard dialog below.
The Customize Dashboard dialog is where Community Leaders turn standard cards on and off and manage custom cards. Everything here applies to the whole community.
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the Dashboard.
Under Standard Cards, use the switch next to each card to show or hide it for everyone.
Click Done when you're finished.
In the Customize Dashboard dialog, under Custom Cards, click New Card.
Enter a Card Title.
Write the Card Content in the editor, or turn on HTML Mode to paste HTML.
Check the Preview below the editor.
Click Create Card.
Click the three-dot menu on the card itself, or use the pencil and trash icons next to it under Custom Cards in the Customize Dashboard dialog. Deleting a custom card removes it for everyone and can't be undone.
Custom cards are visible to every member as soon as you save them.
If your household or membership is no longer active, the Dashboard shows a Limited Access notice. You can still see your messages and payment history.
If your community is no longer active on Communitrak, you'll see Community Unavailable, and you can still manage your own account.
If your Communitrak subscription is in a read-only state, you can view the Dashboard but can't hide cards or change custom cards.
If you have questions or need help, chat with Communitrak Support from any page using the messenger icon in the bottom-right corner.
