Creating a new amenity in Communitrak allows community managers to manage and showcase community resources effectively. Follow the steps below to add an amenity to your community's list, whether it's a pool, clubhouse, gym, or any other space that residents can enjoy.
Step 1: Access the Amenities Section
Navigate to Amenities: Start by logging into your Communitrak account. Click on the Amenities option in the main navigation menu.
Step 2: Add a New Amenity
Initiate the Addition of a New Amenity: At the top right of the amenities management page, you will see a + New Amenity button. Click this button to start the process of adding a new amenity.
Enter Amenity Information: A new page containing a form will appear where you can provide detailed information about the new amenity. Fill in all the required fields including but not limited to:
Name: Enter the name of the amenity.
Type: Specify the type of amenity (e.g., pool, clubhouse, gym).
Event Creation: Select whether residents can create events on the amenity's calendar.
Access Method: Describe how the amenity is accessed by residents.
Operating Status: Indicate the current operating status of the amenity (e.g., open, closed for maintenance).
Amenity Hours: Provide the operating hours of the amenity.
Step 3: Configure Reservation Options
Reservation Availability: Decide whether the amenity can be reserved by residents. If you choose "Yes", additional options will appear that allow you to customize the reservation settings, such as reservation lead times, maximum reservation length, and any specific rules or guidelines for reservations.
Step 4: Save the New Amenity
Finalize and Save: After entering all the necessary information and configuring the reservation options (if applicable), click the "Save Amenity" button at the bottom of the form. This action will create the new amenity and add it to your community's amenities list.
