Adding members to a watchlist for a specific request or violation ensures that they receive notifications about any updates, keeping everyone involved informed. This guide will walk you through the process of adding a member to a watchlist within Communitrak.

Step 1: Navigate to Communitrak

First, access the Communitrak platform by entering the website address in your browser. Ensure you are logged in to proceed.

Note: You must have an active account and the necessary permissions to add members to a watchlist.

Step 2: Access Requests or Violations

From the main navigation menu, click on Requests or Violations. The Requests option will expand to reveal additional categories such as general, maintenance, and architectural. Choose according to the nature of the watchlist you wish to manage.

Step 3: Select an Existing Request or Violation

Browse through the list and click on an existing request or violation you wish to add members to the watchlist for. It's important to select the correct item to ensure the right members are notified of updates.

Step 4: Locate the Watchlist Card

Once you've selected a request or violation, scroll down to find the Watchlist card. This section is dedicated to managing who gets notified about updates. Click the "+ Add" button to start adding members.

Step 5: Add Members to the Watchlist

A new window will pop up, displaying a list of community members. Scroll through or use the search function to find the members you want to add. Click "Add" next to the member's name to include them in the watchlist.

  • Repeat this process for each member you wish to add.

  • Each added member will now receive notifications for any updates to the request or violation.

Step 6: Close the Add Members Window

After adding all the desired members to the watchlist, close the Add Members window. You can do this by clicking the close button or clicking outside the window.

Note: The request creator and the recipient cannot be removed from the watchlist. If you are the creator or recipient, you cannot remove yourself from the watchlist.

By following these steps, you've successfully added members to the watchlist for a specific request or violation. All members listed in the Watchlist card will now be kept up to date with any developments, ensuring effective communication and resolution within your community.
