Uploading and Attaching Files and Photos to a Request or Violation

Learn how to manage attached files for requests and violations in Communitrak.

Members of the Watchlist can upload files, photos, and documents to the Violation as supporting evidence or verification of completion. The following steps will show you how to upload and manage files for a request or violation.

Step 1: Access Communitrak

  • Navigate to Communitrak and log in.

Step 2: Open the Requests or Violations Module

  • Click on "Requests" or "Violations" in the main navigation menu.

Step 3: Choose a Request

  • Select a pending request or violation report from the list to view its details.

Step 5: Add a File

  • Within the request or violation details, locate the "Attached Files" card and click on "+ Add" to upload a new file.

Step 6: Upload a File

  • Click the "Browse" button to open your file explorer, and then select the file you wish to upload.

  • Once selected, click the "Upload File" button to start the upload process.


Preview the Uploaded File

  • After uploading, you can click on the file's thumbnail to view an image preview.

  • To exit the preview, click the "X" in the top right corner of the image.


Delete a File

  • If you need to remove a file, click "Delete File" located under the file's thumbnail.

  • A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm your decision to delete the file.


Additional Tips:

  • You can add multiple files to each request or violation report by repeating the upload process.

  • Ensure that the files you upload are relevant and provide clear evidence or information related to the request or violation.

  • For large files, it may take a few moments to upload. Ensure you have a stable internet connection during this process.
