Learn how to easily add comments to requests or violations in Communitrak.

The Comment feature allows Watchlist members to add comments to requests and violations, facilitating communication and collaboration during the resolution process. Keep all discussions in one place for efficient and peaceful resolutions within your community. Follow these steps to add your comments.

Step 1: Navigate to the Communitrak App:

Start by opening your web browser and going to app.communitrak.com. Ensure you're logged in with your user credentials to access the features.

Step 2: Access Requests or Violations:

From the main navigation menu, locate and tap on either Requests or Violations depending on what you wish to comment on.

  • If you choose Requests, you'll see it expands to reveal three categories: General, Maintenance, and Architectural. Select the category relevant to your request.

  • If you opt for Violations, you'll directly access the list of reported violations.

Step 3: Select an Existing Request or Violation:

Browse through the list and click on the specific request or violation you want to comment on. This will open the details page for the selected item.

Step 4: Find the Comments Section:

As you scroll down the details page, look for the Comments section. This is typically located towards the bottom of the page. Click on the "Add a comment" field, which allows you to type out your comment.

Step 5: Post Your Comment:

After typing your comment, click the Post button to share your comment with other community members or managers involved with the request or violation.

Your comment has now been added to the violation. An email notification will be sent alerting everyone on the Watchlist of the new comment.

Remember, commenting on requests or violations is a great way to provide updates, ask questions, or offer solutions. It's an integral part of maintaining clear and open communication within your community.
