How to Mark a Request or Violation as Complete in Communitrak

Updated over 10 months ago

By marking a violation as complete, it serves as a record of its resolution status, keeping all parties informed. Additionally, the “Completed” status indicates that the violation case has been fully settled, allowing you to maintain an organized and up-to-date violations log. This article guides you through marking a request or violation as complete, a key step in your community management process.

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

  • Start by navigating to app.communitrak.com. Enter your credentials to log in to your Communitrak account.

Step 2: Access Requests or Violations

  • From the main navigation menu, select either "Requests" or "Violations", depending on the type of item you wish to mark as complete. If choosing "Requests," note that it expands to reveal three types: General, Maintenance, and Architectural. Select the appropriate category for the request you're looking to complete.

Step 3: Select the Item to Close

  • Browse the list of pending requests or violations to find the specific one you are dealing with. Click on it to view its details.

Step 4: Mark as Complete

  • After reviewing the details and ensuring the request or violation has been adequately addressed, click the "Mark Complete" button. This button is available for general, maintenance, and violation items. For Architectural requests, you will see "Approve Request" or "Reject Request" buttons instead, as these requests require a decision.

Step 5: Confirm Your Action

  • A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you are sure you want to mark the item as complete. Click "Yes" to confirm your decision. This action will close the request or violation and remove it from the active list.

The request or violation is now officially marked as complete and closed. Should the need arise, Communitrak allows for the reopening of closed requests or violations, ensuring flexibility in handling community management tasks.

Remember, keeping a detailed and up-to-date record of community requests and violations is crucial for effective management and governance. Communitrak's platform makes it easy to track, manage, and resolve these items, contributing to a harmonious and well-organized community.
