Send a New Message

Learn how to compose and send messages within Communitrak to keep in touch with your community members.

Step 1: Log in to Your Account

Note: Some options may be unavailable or look differently depending on your level of account access.

Step 2: Access the Messages Module

  • Click on "Messages" located in the main navigation menu. This module is your hub for all communication within the community.

Step 3: Compose a New Message

  • Once in the Messages module, click the "Compose" button to start drafting a new message.

Step 4: Select Recipients

  • Choose Member Groups: At the top of the recipient selection area, you'll notice predefined member groups for easy selection.

  • Select Individual Members: If preferred, you can select community members one by one for more personalized communication.

  • After your selection, click outside the dropdown to close it.

Step 5: Message Settings

  • Sender Identity: Decide whether the message should be sent from your personal account or on behalf of the HOA.

  • Reply Settings: Select how you would like to receive replies—whether in the same thread, as new threads, or not at all.

Step 6: Draft Your Message

  • Subject: Provide a concise and clear subject for your message to inform recipients of the content.

  • Message Body: Compose the body of your message. Be clear and direct to ensure your message is understood.

Step 7: Send Your Message

  • After composing your message and selecting the recipients, click "Send." Your message will now be dispatched to the chosen recipients.


Manage Received Messages

  • All Messages: If you are a recipient of the message, you'll find it listed in your All Messages folder. Click on a message to open and read it.

  • Reply or Delete: After opening a message, you can choose to reply to the message or delete it if necessary.

Troubleshooting

When sending a new message, if the "To" input is blank or doesn't allow you to select recipients, try each of the following:

  • Hard refresh the page and then try again.

  • Log out of Communitrak, log back in, and try again.

  • Try accessing Communitrak using a different web browser. We recommend Google Chrome.
