Upload, organize, and share files with members of your community.

Whether you're distributing minutes from the latest HOA meeting, sharing a newsletter, or posting important notices, the Files module ensures that members have access to the documents they need.

Upload a New File

Step 1: Access the Files Module

  • Navigate to the Files Module: Start by selecting "Files" from the main navigation menu. This will take you to the Files section, where all community documents and files are stored and managed.

Step 2: Initiate File Upload

  • Open the Upload Window: Tap on "Upload File" located in the top banner menu of the Files section.

Step 3: Select Your File

  • Browse Your Device: Click or tap the "Browse" button to open your device's file explorer. This allows you to navigate through your device's storage to find the file you wish to upload.

Step 4: Choose the File to Upload

  • Find and Select Your File: In your device's file explorer, locate and select the file you want to upload. You can select documents, images, PDFs, and other supported file types.

Step 5: (Optional) Rename Your File

  • Rename If Necessary: Before uploading, you have the option to change the name of your file. This can be helpful for organizing your files or making them easier to recognize for other community members.

Step 6: Upload the File

  • Complete the Upload: After selecting your file and adjusting its name (if desired), tap "Upload File."

Step 7: Verify the Upload

  • Confirm Your File is Uploaded: Once the upload is complete, you'll see your file listed in the Files section along with any other previously uploaded documents. This confirms that your file is now available for access by authorized community members.


File Management

Rename a File

In Communitrak, keeping your files organized and easily identifiable is essential for smooth community operations. There may be occasions when a file needs to be renamed for clarity, to reflect updated content, or to correct a typo.

Delete a File

There might be instances when you need to remove a file from the Communitrak Files section, whether it's outdated, no longer relevant, or uploaded by mistake.

File Link and Access

Once you have successfully uploaded a file to Communitrak, you may want to share it with other community members or even third parties outside of your community. Communitrak provides a secure and straightforward way to manage who can access your files through shareable links and customizable file security settings.
